Resolve Tutorials is my own YouTube channel covering editing tutorials specifically linked to DaVinci Resolve. These videos are often more technical and graphics based. This channel has been a really powerful way for me to practice my skills in editing, motion graphics, educational content, and voiceovers.
This is a video I made for my editing tutorials YouTube Channel, about my experience with the M4 Mac Mini after 11 months of owning it (the videos titled 10 months because it sounds better). I started by collating my thoughts to get an overall structure for this video, and decided for this I wanted to try presenting the script on camera. After this the video went through the same process as all others on this channel, an over 1,000 word script and simple shot list. To save myself the difficulty of learning the script, I got a simple teleprompter to make this video possible, so I could read the script and be looking into the camera lens at the same time. After this I filmed all the b-roll and screen recordings needed, before editing the whole thing together with graphics. I also make all my own thumbnails for videos on the channel. This specific thumbnail was made fully in 3D in the software Blender.
